Chairs are arguably the best invention since sliced bread, and we all know how great sliced bread is, so that makes chairs pretty awesome. After a long hard day of work, or play, the first thing one wants to do is go home and put their feet on the wall, figuratively speaking. An evening spent relaxing with one's feet on the wall usually consists of chilling out in one's favorite chair to sit in.
In many ways chairs, like dogs, are man's best friend. Chairs are always there for you when you arrive home. I imagine that if chairs were capable of having feelings, they would be excited when you walk in the door, just like a dog. I know when I arrive home after a long, hard day of kicking butt and taking names all I want to do is change into my comfy clothes and settle into my favorite chair.
